The Department of the Health and disease prevention of the state government of Tamil Nadu has made an important announcement regarding the cremation or burial of those who had lost their lives after coronavirus infection.
�The State Government of Tamil Nadu has undertaken various strong measures to prevent the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic. However, in spite of giving the best possible treatment, there have been incidences of deaths!
Presently, there are various wrong views and apprehensions among the public regarding the disposition of the dead bodies of the above-mentioned dead persons.
The public must note here that the dead bodies are allowed to be taken out only after thoroughly ensuring all necessary safety precautions having been performed!
The dead bodies are sprayed with disinfectants with utmost care and caution and then safely secured in the specially made plastic bags and the disinfectant are sprayed again the external covered bodies and then closed tightly.
The clothes worn by the dead are removed carefully much earlier. With these careful measures, there are absolutely no scopes for any germs spreading the coronavirus from the dead body!
Also, the near and the dear of the dead persons are NOT ALLOWD to hug the dead bodies and cry, etc. Even the final rites are allowed to be performed fully avoiding the possibility of touching the dead body!
While carrying the ultra-carefully covered dead bodies as explained above in any vehicles or ambulances, or performing the final rites while undertaking the cremation or burial of the dead body, there is absolutely no scope for any infection among the persons participating in these final rites!
In the instance of cremation, the smoke emanating or the ashes WILL NOT cause any infection!
Even the vehicles carrying the dead bodies are sprayed washed thoroughly with disinfectants!
So, the public NEED NOT HAVE ANY APPREHENSIONS regarding the final rites accorded to the dead bodies while the cremation or the burial takes place!
We appeal to the public to make strong note on this issue and allow these to be performed peacefully!�
