Coronavirus in Tamil Nadu: 1,520 affected: 17 persons die!

The districts of Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri remain as unaffected by the raging coronavirus infection! The district of Pudhukkottai, with no complaints until yesterday, reported 1 person affected today! (Monday, 20th April).
In a single day today, 43 persons have been confirmed with the infection of coronavirus. 2 persons died. With this, the state of Tamil Nadu has 1,520 persons affected and 17 dead so far!
The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Health, Vijayabhaskar, shared with the press:
�On a single day, today (20th April), 6,109 tests were carried out. So far, samples of 47,710 persons have been tested. 43 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection on a single day today!
It is established more number of persons get affected if one of the members gets infected! Pudukkottai district has 1 case confirmed! Totally 1,520 persons are affected.
46 persons have been cured and discharged today (20th April). Even these discharged persons have been strongly advised to remain in isolation!
Today, in Chennai Metro City 2 persons have died including a doctor in a private hospital. With this, 17 deaths have been reported so far.
2 more laboratories have been set up in Tamil Nadu and now, there are 33 laboratories. Out of these, 23 are government laboratories and the balance 10 are from the private sector.
Today, on a single day, 6109 tests were carried out. Rapid tests are also being performed continuously.
World Health Organisation (WHO) has appreciated India�s efforts mentioning that this country has been controlling coronavirus rather well! It is of note, that the huge issue of the coronavirus pandemic has been excellently handled in the State of Tamil Nadu!�
