Coimbatore Collector: Public roaming around the streets without a mask will be arrested!

The District Collector of Coimbatore District, Rajamani, announced yesterday:
�Stringent legal actions will be taken on those who had not tested in spite of coronavirus symptoms and not undergone treatment as per the Infectious Disease Prevention Act 1897 and Public Health Act 1897.
The isolated persons are not permitted to move out. The items required by them will be arranged to be delivered at their place! The public who venture out for emergencies MUST wear face masks.
Police have been ordered to arrest the public violating the lockdown imposition or not wearing the face masks!�
