Rs.50 Crores is allotted for laying Plastic Roads
TamilNadu Chief Minister Selvi J.Jayalalitha on Thursday have announced Budget for laying roads in the Assembly. The roads in the chennai were layed using of waste plastics at a cost of Rs.50 Crore.
She also stated that government allotted Rs.153.50 Crore in 2011-12 for laying tar roads in rural areas, covering 1255 Km. Nearly 1000 Km distance of road has been laid.
For Urban areas Rs. 153.61 Crore was allotted and in 2012-13 government released Rs.219.58 Crore for laying 499 Km roads. The government also issued orders for laying 100 Km in 2013-14.
