UGC: An official website mandatory for each college!

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has imposed the condition that all colleges must have their own official and independent websites.
The University Grants Commission (UGC), which functions under the central government Department/Ministry of Human Welfare, has imposed several conditions on colleges. All arts and science colleges must comply with these In a similar vein, separate rules and conditions have been specified by the National Academic Teachers’ Council.
According to these, each college has to set up a separate website and upload details of the infrastructure facilities, the Administration Board, and the details of the Principal and other Professors/lecturers, etc. However, most of the colleges have shown some disinclination to set up websites!
As complaints were being received by the Teachers’ Academic University, a circular has been sent in this regard on behalf of the university to all colleges.
The circular mentions that each and every college must set up its own independent website and send a report about it to the university before 10th April.
