Consume these foods for your gut health and digestion to be superb

It is important to mention that the gut plays a huge role from the time the food is ingested to the time it is absorbed in the body and passed out as stools. The first part of gut is mouth and it is followed by oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and anus.

For the food to be digested, many chemicals and enzymes must perform their work and absence or inefficiency of these could result in poor gut health. Health of the gut is important for our overall health to be good.

Various foods that could be consumed for the gut health to be good are

Yoghurt intake:
For good gut health, intake of yoghurt is important.  It must be noted that yoghurt is rich in good bacteria and this help in the digestion process. By including yoghurt in the diet, our issue due to indigestion could be avoided.

Intake of olive oil:
The presence of fatty acids and polyphenols in the olive oil does superbly in helping the gut bacteria and microbes in the process of digestion.

Intake of garlic:
Apart from providing many health benefits like controls cholesterol, reduces BP, prevents heart diseases etc, garlic with pungent smell could keep the bad or harmful bacteria under control in the gut.

Intake of ginger:
It is possible to treat issues like cold, cough and other issues in the home by using ginger. Ginger helps in smooth movement of food through GI tract. The good bacteria get boosted in the gut and this helps in the process of digestion.

Intake of almonds:
It is known that almonds are rich in fibres, fatty acids and polyphenols etc. It is believed that by consuming almonds our gut health could get better.

Intake of kombucha:
It is said that this fermented tea drink is rich in probiotic good bacteria. This kombucha has got sharp vinegary taste and it could be consumed as refreshing drink on its own or it could be mixed with fruits and spices.

Intake of peas:
Our system would be kept in balance when we consume peas that are rich in soluble and insoluble fibers.
