Huge gathering of devotees -Mandala Poojai today at Sabarimalai Temple!

In Sabarimalai Lord Sri Ayyappan Temple, the deity of Lord, Sri Ayyappan was adorned with golden shield and Deeparadhanai was performed yesterday (Thursday, 26th December)
As Mandala Poojai is scheduled today (Friday, 27th December) there has been a streaming crowd of devotees gathering in Sabarimalai.
The golden shield which was taken from Aranmuna on 23rd December for the occasion of Mandala Poojai, reached Sarankuthi at 6.00 PM yesterday (Thursday, 26th December). It was received with a devotional welcome on behalf of the Dewaswom Board.
The Golden shield reached the 18-steps at 6.25 PM and was received by Tantri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanararu and Melsanthi Sudhir Namboodhri.
The temple corridors were closed and the deity of Lord Ayyappan was adorned with the golden shield. After this, the temple corridors were reopened and Deeparadhanai was performed. Several devotees including the Dewamsom Board President Vasu participated.
Mandala Poojai today (27th December)!
Mandala Poojai has been schooled to be performed from 10.00 AM to 11.40 AM today (Friday, 27th December).
�Kala Abhshekham� will be performed on the main deity of Lord Ayyappan and then adorned with the golden shield. After this, Mandala Poojai will be performed.
The temple corridors will be closed by 1.00 PM. They will be opened again by 4.00 PM and then closed at 10.00 PM. Devotees will not be allowed to go from Pampa after 8.30 PM.
The temple corridors will be opened for the holy occasion of Majara Vilakku Poojai at 5.00 PM on 30th December. There would be no other Poojas performed on this day. The temple corridors will be opened early morning at 3.00 PM on 31st December. �Ghee Abhishekham� will commence.
