BSE Sensex up by 80 points
The Sensex rose by 80.09 points (0.43 per cent) to 18825.02. According to reports, the rise was mainly due to stocks of Information technology, consumer and realty sectors.
Analysts also credited the firming trend in global markets for the rise. Relainace Industries and HCL Technologies reported fourth quarter profits which is also a reason for the upward streak.
