10,940 special buses to be operated for Deepavali from Chennai

For the passengers planning to travel from Chennai to various places to celebrate the Deepavali festival, 10,940 special buses are to be operated starting from 24th, 25th, and 26th October.
66,773 passengers have so far booked to travel in the State Transport Corporation buses.
The State Transport Corporation has informed that Rs. 3.26 Crores has been collected in this regard.
