Single registration for Sabarimalai Visit - Dewasam Board

The president of the Thiruvithankur Dewasam Board Padmakumar informed that instead of the current practice of 3 different kinds of registration to be made for the visit to Sabarimalai, arrangements will be made for this with a single registration.
He further explained in this regard in Padmanabhapuram:
‘The devotees who come to Sabarimalai in various vehicles need to get down at Nilakkal and then take the Kerala State bus to Pambai and return. This was implemented last season.
However, as per the latest order from the Kerala High Court, the devotees can take their vehicles up to Pambai. In this situation, discussions/consultations are being conducted to make arrangements for registration at a single place for the travel, Darshan, lodging room registration, prayer, etc.
The devotees can book from their residences. For those who do not have this facility, facilities will be made on behalf of Dewasam Board in Nilakkal and Pambai to make registration.
With this system, the details/data fo who all are visiting Sabarimalai, and how many have visited.
A decision regarding this will be taken in 1 or 2 days with a joint meeting of the Dewasama Board and IT experts from the Police Department.
After the decision, an awareness campaign will be conducted in all the states about this. Though the registration has not yet been made compulsory, it will be made compulsory shortly.
A review will be taken regarding the possibility in case the persons who registered could not come on time and what actions should be taken, No charges will be there for registration.
As High Court Order is there, Dewasam Board cannot deploy staff for preventing women from entering Pambai.
