Reduction in petrol prices
The petrol price across the country was reduced by Rs. 0.85 per litre with effect from midnight on Monday. The move comes in the wake of a fall in the international oil prices. However, the rate is excluding VAT and sales tax.
Prices per litre after VAT are: Delhi Rs. 67.29, Mumbai Rs. 74.14, Kolkata Rs. 74. 72 and Chennai Rs. 70.34.
