New E-adangal App introduced

The state minister for revenues, Udhayakumar, inaugurated the release of a new mobile App E-adangal yesterday (Tuesday, 5th March) to facilitate the farmers/agriculturists to directly register their harvest details.
The system of recording the seasonal harvest details with the related areas where they were grown is being followed as a regular procedure by the Village Administration Officers, known as �Kurippedu adangal�.
As the latest improvement, the facility for the farmers/agriculturists to directly record the harvest/growth details, through a new mobile App �E-adangal�.
In an event organised yesterday (Tuesday, 5th March) at Chennai Ezhilagam, the state revenue minister Udhayakumar inaugurated the new App.
He shared the information that the farmers can use this App to record their harvest data anywhere, anytime. During the occasions of some great natural disasters such as drought, the facility to ascertain the exact extent of damage and offer the required help/remedial actions would also be made available shortly.
