To help those taking part in the Chennai marathon, CMRL would be doing this

On January 6th 2019, Skechers Performance Chennai marathon would be held and many people would be taking part in this marathon. Chennai Metro Rail limited or CMRL would be playing its part by starting its services at 4am in the morning that is two hours before the usual time. There would also be metro train services for every 15 minutes so that the participants would be able to take part in the marathon without any problem. It is known that CMRL usually operates services from 6am in the morning till 10pm in the night. The news collected was on 6th of January, metro trains would be operated on both the corridors from Chennai Central to St Thomas Mount and Chennai airport to AGDMS.
It is important to mention here that the starting point of this marathon is 400 metres away from the Nandanam metro station between AGDMS and airport. The participants would be able to park their vehicles at any metro station by showing their BIB number given to them. The important piece of information is the participants would be able to collect their BIB numbers from the hall number 1, Chennai Trade Centre, Mount-Poonamallee High Road, Nandambakkam on 4th of January between 9am to 6:30pm. On 5th of January, the participants could get their BIB numbers from 9am to 5pm.
CMRL is the official metro partner for the upcoming marathon event and it would put up kiosk at Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam so that the marathon participants would be able to buy preloaded travel cards.
