IRCTC organises a special pilgrimage trip

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has organised a special pilgrimage trip for the ardent Hindu devotees to facilitate visiting the Navabrindavanam temples (9 sacred temples) during the holy an sacred Tamil calendar month of Margazhi.

This special pilgrimage train is scheduled to start from Madurai on 10th January and travel via Dindigul, Trichy, Villupuram and Chennai Egmore. During this special pilgrimage, the passengers-cum-devotees can have Darshans of the �Jeeva Samadhis� (sacred tombs) of 9 glorified Hindu Saints /sage/gurus including the tombstone of Sri Sudheendhra Theerthar, who was the mentor (guru) of the celebrated Saint Raghavendra, and 8 other saints.

The passengers will visit the Manthralayam and the Ahobilam Lord Narasimha�s temple in Andhra.

This pilgrimage for 5 days including a 2nd class travel with berth and bedding will cost Rs. 6160 per person.
