Results released for Civil Services Examinations

The preliminary examination was conducted on 3rd June this year for the filling up of 782 posts in 24 categories in the Indian Government Administrative Services of IAS, IPS, and IRS.
8 Lakhs candidates participated. The results were released in July. 10000 candidates were declared successful.
The Main Examination was conducted from 27th September to 7th October. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the above examinations. The results were released yesterday (Thursday, 20th December). 1994 candidates have been declared successful.
The interviews for the above successful candidates are scheduled from 4th February. It has been announced that the invitation letter for the above successful candidates will be sent online from 8th January on the website - www.upsc.gov.in.
