Next week, the registration for UGC NET 2018 is set to begin. It starts on 1st September 2018 and ends on 30th September 2018. The registration can be done online at NAT website �
nta.ac.in. It is a good news to all the UGC NET aspirants (NET � National Eligibility Test) to know that the test will be held once in 6 months � once in the month of July and once in December annually. This will be done in computer mode.
According to the schedule of exam announced by the National Testing Agency, we provide you the details of UGC NET exam that is likely to be held in December this year.
1st September 2018 � starting of online registration
30th September � end of online registration
19th November 2018 � applicants can get their admit cards downloaded
9th to 23rd December 2018 � exam dates
10th January 2019 � result announcement
The same exam pattern of UGC NET July 2018 shall be followed in the December exam as well. There will be 2 papers rather than the 3 papers that used to be the case earlier.
Paper 1
This includes teaching or research aptitude. There will be 50 objective questions for 100 marks on the whole. These are reasoning, divergent thinking, GK and comprehension. The time duration for the test is 1 hour � between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.
Paper 2
This will analyze the candidate�s proficiency in the respective subject they choose. There will be 100 objective questions for a total of 200 marks. This will be a 2 hours test between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. This encompasses syllabus of paper 2 and 3 that were conducted earlier.
