According to the Chinese calendar, 2013 is the year of the snake. According to astrologers, this year�s variety of the snake is a water snake so the year can be less mysterious and fearsome that if the variety was, say, a cobra!
The snake is the sixth in the Chinese zodiac. It is said that the year of the snake is normally a year of tests, worry (in Chinese mythology snakes are associated with monsters) and political turbulence.
