Aditya Ghosh joins Nani Palkhivala Abritration Centre as Director

Mr.Aditya Ghosh, Former President, IndiGo Airlines has joined Nani Palkhivala Abritration Centre(NPAC) as a Director.  

NPAC is an institutional arbitration centre set up in 2005, relieve courts of a huge volume of cases that may otherwise clog the court’s time. It is the only Indian arbitration institution that boasts of two centres i.e. one at  New Delhi and the other at Chennai. The NPAC is recognized by the Madras High Court  to render assistance in arbitration matters.

 With the addition of Mr.Aditya Ghosh, who brings to NPAC’s board his vast managerial expertise in institution building, the NPAC seems set to take on the best arbitration centres in the world.

The Governing Council boasts of  Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India,  Mr. Soli J. Sorabjee, Former Attorney General of India & Senior Advocate,  Mr. K. K. Venugopal,  Attorney General of India, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India,  Mr. B. S. Raghavan. I. A. S. (Retd.), Former Advisor to the United Nations (FAO), Mr. Iqbal Chagla, Senior Advocate, Bombay High Court and Mr.T.S.Krishnamurthy, Former Chief Election Commissioner of India.  The Late.  Habibulla Badsha, Former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu,  Senior Advocate, was also a member of the Governing Council.

The  Board of Directors  comprises   Mr. S. Mahalingam, Former Chief Financial Officer, Tata Consultancy Services, Mr. Arvind P. Datar, Mr. V. S. Jayakumar, Mr. N. L. Rajah, Mr. R. Anand, Mr.R.Murari, Mr.M.S.Krishnan, Mr.Gaurav Pachnanda, Ms.Payal Chawla and Mr.K.Balaji.
