Chennai Flavors is the latest in a string of South Indian restaurants opening in the US. This restaurant, located in Jersey City, caters to the South Indian palette. With a menu that ranges from tiffin (Idli, Vadai, Dosai) to North Indian thalis, it reminds you of any restaurant you may find in Namma Chennai.
It is interesting to note the soup section that has Sambar as an option. A fast selling soup? Also interesting is that there are no purely South Indian desserts.
