Indian Overseas Bank signs an MoU with SMC Global Securities Ltd

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), one of the leading public sector banks in India has entered into an MoU with SMC Global Securities Ltd. for offering convenient and hassle free E-trading facilities to its customers anywhere in the country. In this association IOB would be the point of presence and the services shall be available to all its customers.
With this association, customers will have a triple advantage of having their Bank account, Demat and Trading account interlinked on the common platform which shall be sourced through IOB network. This integrated service will be digitally delivered to the bank customers along with advanced trading platforms. The tie-up will cover more number of cities and will also provide a convenient and efficient mobile application for all its trading operations.
Commenting on this partnership, Shri. R Subramaniakumar, MD & CEO, IOB said “Presently banking and technology are moving hand in hand, to facilitate our customers, we are incorporating Fintech into our banking system by associating with SMC Global who will provide customers an hassle free E-trading facilities.
Addition to web based trading on the SMC platform; mobile application will also be available to the customers, which will benefit them carry out secure transaction on the move.
