What do you know about Bhargav Sri Prakash? Feeling hazy about the name? Well, he is an entrepreneur, an inventor and an engineer in India. He is the inventor of very first digital vaccine. Wondering what it is? This vaccination will prevent you from all possible hazards of lifestyle diseases. He has invented the vaccine based on several psychological and virtual reality research.
He is the CEO and founder of FriendsLearn and also serves as the Chief of Product for Fooya – a mobile application that is proved to better children’s health by altering their food habits. Well, adding to the list is that he is a former professional tennis player and a junior national champion in India.
Bhargav was born to Sheila Sri Prakash, an architect and urban designer, and M.V. Sri Prakash. In the early 1990s, he was a renowned and successful junior tennis player. He has represented India in a number of international tournaments and was ranked 761 in International Tennis Federation.
He was admitted in Birla Institute of Technology and Science, but was dropped out right during the first semester and got back to Chennai, as the tennis court at BITS campus were tarred. He then pursued Mechanical Engineering in College of Engineering, Guindy. He then took up graduate school in the University of Michigan and obtained Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering.
At the time he got enrolled as a graduate student in the University of Michigan, he had set up his first company CADcorporation. He commercialized graduate research for math-based simulations. Later in 2005, he sold CADcorporation and launched Vmerse and it pioneered in marketing gamified 3D simulation platform. Later in 2009, he also sold Vmerse and in the year 2008, he set up a company for investment funding and asset management called Nirmana Investments. He served as the MD of the company.
As he had experience with Vmerse, he was appointed in Kauffman Foundation in 2011 for addressing education and health related issues. It was during this period that he had set up FriendsLearn. Last year (2017), he co-authored An Explanatory Analysis of Game Telemetry. It talks about the different methods of personalizing digital vaccines.
