Class mates to Advice against Foot board travel

While several deaths in the city due to the Foot Board travelling made an awareness to the public as well as officials to take necessary actions against foot board travelling . In Chennai alone 17 deaths and 51 injuries had been held due to Foot board travel.after the death of four students near Perungudi last month the awareness had been mounted up to take serious actions against the students and commons who travels in foot board.
Chennai Regional Transport Office in K.K.nagar had decided to form student committees in corporation schools and government colleges in the locality to check foot board travel by children. Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) Limited is operating 80 trips with 40 buses as school students’ specials and 141 trips with 124 buses as women and students specials. Over three lakh bus passes have been provided to school students and one lakh to college students.
Though the buses were operated.Students were travelling in Foot board because of Shortage of buses. Serious necessary actions are being taken in the city.
