We all like travelling by trains as it gives superb happiness for both young as well as the old. It is well known that during the festival season like Pongal and Deepavali people travel by trains more to reach their destinations.

The news is Southern Railways has come out with the idea of introducing Anubhuti coach in the Chennai Central - Mysuru Sector now. It is now said that this would be the gift for Pongal for the travellers. The good news is from Friday 12th January 2018, train number 12007/12008 would have this Anubhuti coach in the Chennai Central - Mysuru- Chennai Central Shatabdi express trains. One important piece of information is the fare for travelling in this Anubhuti coach would be 1.2 times of executive class fare that is collected in Shatabdi trains.

It is important to note that passengers for booking accommodation would have to use the number 22007 and 22008 instead of 12007 and 12008 when they want to travel in this Anubhuti coach.

Some of the features that are present in this Anubhuti coach are superb interiors and designed seats. Plus people travelling in this coach would be surprised to see improved modular toilets along with hands free taps. Many people read books or magazines etc while travelling and for them overhead reading lights are available in this Anubhuti coach.

It is known that the present fare in the executive class coach from Chennai to Mysuru is Rs 1835 and Rs 1445 to Benguluru. People travelling in this Anubhuti coach would have to pay Rs 2200 from Chennai to Mysuru and Rs 1735 up to Benguluru.

One main advantage of this Shatabdi trains over volvo buses is the travelling time reduction as passengers could reach Benguluru in these trains in just 4 hours and 50 minutes plus it would take just 2 hours to reach Mysuru. In Volvo buses the travelling time is 6 to 7 hours from Chennai to Benguluru.
