During the year 2017, NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) was conducted on 7th May in 10 languages at 1921 exam centres in 103 cities.
A total of 11,38,890 students registered for the NEET 2017 including 1522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs and 613 Foreigners.
NEET 2018 online application process will begin from January, 2018.
Students aged above 25 years can now appear for NEET exam. Regarding this, the Supreme Court has allowed candidates above 25 years to appear for NEET examination.
An important aspect is that NEET question paper will be same for all states.
It may be recalled that there were a lot of controversies throughout the country regarding the question paper of NEET 2017.
However, as regards NEET 2018 question paper, the Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar has said vernacular question papers for the NEET will be a mere translation of the question paper in English.
