Petrol price increased

Petrol price was increased by 4 paise per litre and diesel price slashed by 1 paise per litre with effect from 6 am, Aug 28.
Prices may vary from Outlet to Outlet within a city due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.
After the price revision, a litre of petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 71.60 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 60.03 per litre.
