Southern Railways diverts, cancels trains due to Cyclone Nilam

Southern Railways announced diversion and partial cancellation of trains, especially those passing through coastal districts.

Due to severe cyclonic weather, heavy rainfall and wind along the coastal districts, the following trains leaving o�n 31.10.2012 will be diverted via. chord line from Villupuram, viz. Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur, Tiruchchirappalli.

5)T.No.16179/16180 Chennai Egmore � Mannargudi � Chennai Egmore Mannai Expresses will be diverted via. Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur and Nidamangalam.
6)T.No.16175/16176 Chennai Egmore � Karaikal � Chennai Egmore Expresses will be diverted via. Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Nidamangalam and Tiruvarur.
T.No.56877/56878 Villupuram � Mayiladuthurai � Villupuram Passengers are fully cancelled o�n 31.10.2012.
