Filling up the posts of 1663 postgraduate teachers: written test on 2nd July

The written test for filling up the vacancies of 1663 postgraduate teachers and physical education teacher (Grade-1) is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd July.
Applications online can be sent from today (Wednesday, 10th May). The last date for applying online is 30th May.

Tamil � 218, English � 231, Mathematics � 180, Physics � 176, Chemistry � 168, Botany � 87, Zoology � 102, History � 146, Geography � 18, Economics � 139, Commerce � 125, Political Science � 34, Bio-chemistry � 1, Micro-biology � 1, Home Science � 7, Telugu � 1, Physical Education Director � 39.
The applicants must be postgraduates in the respective subjects and also must have passed B.Ed. For the post of physical education director, the candidates must be a graduate and M.B.Ed. The age limit is 57.
Examination Fee: Rs. 500. For SC/ST, and differently-abled candidates: Rs. 250. This must be paid online through net banking or credit/debit cards.

About the written examination:
The written test will comprise of 110 questions (From the applicants elective subject), 30 questions on education, and 10 questions on general knowledge for a total of 150 objective questions. Total Marks: 150.
The appointment orders will be given based on the performance in the written examination, weightage marks, and the seniority of registration in the Employment Exchange.
