Jayalalithaa opens new TNPSC building

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Thursday inaugurated a new building for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).
According to an official release here, the building was constructed on Brazer Bridge Road at VOC Nagar, which is close to the Central Railway Station and Parrys Corner bus stand, to enable applicants from various parts of the State to gain easy access to it.
The Chief Minister also went around the photo exhibits and visited the examination centre and conference hall situated on the sixth floor of the building.
According to R Nataraj, Chairman, TNPSC, the ground floor would house the grievances and counselling cell. �While the second floor would have the application processing department, the third and fourth floors comprises of the examination-related strong room. The fifth floor will have various sections of the staff,� he added.
