No change in Repo rate
Today, the Reserve Bank has not changed its benchmark lending rate at 6.25 percent. However, the reverse repo rate is increased by 0.25 percent and raised to 6 percent.
There is change in the marginal standing facility and reduced by 0.25 percent and brought to 6.5 percent, reads a statement by the central bank in its first bi-monthly monetary policy review of 2017-18. These policy decisions are unanimous, says central bank.
