Residents Hope For Kodambakkam Flyover Before Diwali

Residents of Rangarajapuram are hoping that the second arm of the Rangarajapuram flyover that will land in Subramania Nagar in Kodambakkam will be inaugurated before Deepavali as the work is nearing completion and all that remains is painting and laying of approach road.
The arm connecting Bazullah Road in T.Nagar to Railway Border Road in Kodambakkam, which is a one-way with entry from North Usman Road, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in September 2011. The work order for the construction of the 962-metre-long flyover was issued in January 2008.
During the Deepavali season,the traffic and autorickshaws in T.Nagar.so the work may be finish before diwali.
