CBSE launches app to identify exam centre location

It is absolutely a stressful period during board exam. Adding to this is the hectic process of finding the right exam centre and getting there on time. Eliminating this, the Central Board of Secondary Education has now set up an app to address the regard.
This Exam Locator App will aid students in identifying their exam centres based on roll numbers. The address, image and geographical location of exam hall can be found on the app along with a map to reach there.
The app is made available on Google Play Store now. On downloading, students need to choose whether they need details of CBSE class 10 or class 12. Followed by this, they need to feed roll number. Once done, the exam centre information will appear automatically.
The CBSE exam for this year began on Wednesday. There are over 19.8 lakh students likely to take up the exam in the following weeks. On observing the reception for this app, CBSE will also roll out similar apps for other examinations such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEE.
