Aavin hikes the price of ghee and butter

The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers� Federation Ltd has hiked the prices of Aavin butter and ghee all of a sudden. This has shocked the people.
Apart from milk, Aavin�s most popular products are its cooking butter and ghee. The city consumes three tonnes each of Aavin�s cooking butter and ghee a day.
The price of cooking butter (500 gms) has been increased by Rs. 40 and that of ghee (1 litre tin) by Rs 50.
