J. Jawahar Suryakumar is the DMK`s candidate for the by-election to Sankarankoil Assembly (reserved) constituency, DMK announced on Friday.
The 41-year old Suryakumar is a lawyer from Sankarankoil.
Suryakumar`s candidature was announced by party chief M Karuanidhi at the end of the interview with ticket aspirants held at DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam here, according to sources.
