Polling begins in Aravakurichi, Thanjavur and Nellithope

People turned up in large number to exercise their right to vote at the polling which began on Saturday in Aravakurichi, Thanjavur and Nellithope in Puducherry.
In Puducherry, the postal ballot papers would only be electronically transmitted to the record office of the service voter under two layers two layer security. Nellithope has recorded a poll percentage of 23 until 9.45 a.m., 15 per cent polling in Thanjavur by 9 am, and 14.10 per cent in Tiruparankundram Assembly constituency at 9 am.
