Heavy downpour expected till 22nd

Meteorological Department has mentioned that there will be heavy rains in southern districts of Tamil Nadu till 22nd.
As per the forecast of India Meteorological Department, northeast monsoon intensified on 13th November. There have been sporadic rains along the districts of Western Ghats and coastal areas of southern districts.
The low pressure system is expected to form under the influence of a trough of low at mean sea level over equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal. In view of this there will be heavy rain in southern districts till 22nd.
