Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is able to sit

68-year-old Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was admitted to the Apollo Hospital on September 22 after she complained of fever and dehydration. A specialist from London besides three-member team of doctors from AIIMS, Delhi, had also examined Jayalalithaa, who is being treated for infection with respiratory support.
Now the very happy news about our Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is sitting up and is completely off sedation during the day, marking a fairly important milestone in her recovery process since she was admitted to Apollo Hospitals last month.
Further she is able to able to communicate through gestures. Respiratory support continues but once the tracheotomy tube is removed, she will be able to communicate verbally.
In view of the foregoing, Chief Minister will soon return home hail and healthy.
