IRCTC to introduce a new app- Five new facilities including advance booking

IRCTC will be soon introducing an app which will facilitate a passenger to use five different facilities including advance booking.
An official of IRCTC while speaking about this said: 4 Crore people have registered with IRCTC. On an average, everyday 5 lakhs to 5.7 lakhs people book tickets. Apart from this thousands of people are booking tickets in the counters and are travelling. In order to serve the passengers, the Railways are implementing various cell phone technologies. Because of this passengers get service very easily and also avoid unnecessary tension. The Indian Railways plans to offer end-to-end travel solutions for its passengers including booking cabs, buses, flights and hotels through a new mobile application. In addition, the national carrier intends to involve cab aggregators and also offer an e-commerce platform by developing this integrated mobile application. This new app will be available on Google Play Store after three months.
