Experts in the field of Information Technology state that major IT firms and biotechnology companies functional at Bengaluru are likely to migrate to other states if protests continue for varied reasons. They also add that Bengaluru is a well-known for its commerce and business centres. Apart from affecting the companies, the lives of people living there are largely affected too.
There are protests all over Karnataka owing to reasons including Cauvery dispute, federal traffic law, etc.
Due to these protests for Cauvery dispute, many shops, companies and buses were damaged. Buses and trains are stopped leaving the routine life obliterated. Many companies are shut down in the state today.
One of the high officials working with an IT firm says Bengaluru has a number of companies functional including Information technology, space, aircraft, NANO technology, biotechnology, etc. The centre generates income in crore from the state. These companies also provide array of job opportunities to the people living here. Hassle-free functioning of these companies ensures good lives to most people.
Hence, the state government is bound to take necessary action to bring the situation under control. Protests taking place in the state has badly hit all the companies functional here. If the situation continues, the country�s economy will get affected and the IT sector will get hit too.
