Google Maps gets updated

Google keeps its Google Maps, one of the major apps always updated. Making one more update to it, Google has included a new feature to its app which will enable its users to see speed limits while navigating. In certain areas, the speed limit is shown, says a Reddit user who first spotted the update. To note, the feature is already available on Waze app.
The speed limit in specific areas get displayed along the bottom left of the screen. While Waze warns the user when he exceeds speed, Google Map doesn�t alert or warn. This feature is already available for a few users and is likely to get rolled out to all its users.
Following this, Google will also launch Explore UI. This will aid with a completely different view of finding local businesses and attractions. The user interface is fully white at the top and there are tabs for scrolling vertically.
Aiding its users to find the shortest route to their destination, Google has partnered with Gett and Lyft and gives more options in routes.
