Metrowater requests consumers to pay pending dues

The last date for payment of water and sewerage tax is 30th September.. A press release from Chennai Metrowater managing said, the collection centres in head office, area and depot offices will function on weekends (18th and 25th September).
Late payments will attract surcharge of 1.25 percent every month. Payments can also be made online at www.chennaimetrowater.tn.nic.in by credit/debit Card. Assesses in added areas of the city corporation are also liable to pay water and sewerage charges.
