Vandalur Zoological Park to remain open on Bakrid

Though the state government has declared a government holiday on Tuesday (13th September), it is informed that the Vandalur Zoological Park will be open for the benefit of the public.
In a press-release by the administration of the Arignar Anna Zoological Park located in Vandalur, it is informed that the zoological park and the Children�s park in Guindy will remain open on the holiday for Bakrid on Tuesday, 13th September.
It is to be noted that every Tuesday is treated as a holiday for the zoological park for the purpose of maintenance works. However, the coming Tuesday being the occasion of Bakrid and declared as a state and central government holiday, both Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Vandalur and the Children�s Park in Guindy will remain open for the public.
