Petrol price slashed by Rs.1 per litre, diesel by Rs.2 per litre

Petrol price was on Monday slashed by Rs.1 per litre and diesel price reduced by Rs.2 per litre. The price reduction will be effective midnight.
Rates will differ from state to state due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates. In Chennai petrol price will cost Rs.59.65 per litre & diesel will cost Rs.51.65 per litre
