Airtel brings smiles to the faces of the differently-abled

Bharti Airtel, leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, has extended its continued support for The Shakti Foundation - a Chennai based voluntary organization working for under privileged and special children. On the occasion of the annual day celebration of Shakti Foundation, Airtel came forward to organize a funfair to cheer the exemplary spirit of the children, who have risen above their challenges.
The event was organized at St. George School�s ground on Poonamalee High Road on Saturday (August 20, 2011), which witnessed the presence of over thousand kids from 14 special schools in Chennai. The atmosphere was merry and the special participants were showered with thundering applause for their the extraordinary performance and acts

The fete organized for the children had activities like magic show, face painting, balloon sculpting, walk-around cartoon figures, puppet shows as well as game stalls that were organized by leading corporate houses in Chennai
The fair saw representation from various leading business houses from Chennai coming together to show their support to the cause.
