2 more automated car parks in Chennai

The government on Thursday announced that 30 important roads would be upgraded as �world-class corridors� and multi-storey parking lots would be constructed at the busy T-Nagar and Flower Bazaar junctions. To reduce residents� water woes, a 400 mld desalination would also also be set up.
In a step that would bring relief to the residents of T Nagar and the traders near Flower Bazaar and those who visit these congested areas, the Municipal Administration Minister K P Munusamy announced that automatic multi-storey parking slots would be set up in front of Panagal Park and near Flower Bazaar Police Station.
