The Chennai city police seeking 5 day custody for Hansraj Saxena, COO of Sun Pictures.
Saxena was arrested on Sunday, following a complaint of cheating and life threat, filed by a Salem-based distributor.
Police sources said they are likely to seek a five-day custody of Saxena for further interrogation.
Meanwhile, the Film chamber thanked Jayalalithaa for arresting Saxena. On Monday, many producers have assembled at the Chamber campus and celebrated the arrest of Saxena with firing crackers and distributing sweets.
