Results of Group-1 Preliminary Examination released

The results of the Group-1 Preliminary examination written by 2 Lakh graduates was released.
TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has announced that the Main Examination is scheduled to be conducted by end July.
The Group-1 Preliminary examination was conducted by TNPSC on 8th November to fill up the 74 vacant posts of Assistant Collector, DSP, Commercial Tax Assistant Collector, and District Registrar.Over 2 Lakh graduates wrote this preliminary examination.
The results of this examination were released on the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in .
The list of candidates selected for appearing in the Main Test can be seen at this website.
Over 4030 candidates have qualified to write the Main Examination based on the ratio of 1 vacancy to 50 candidates. All candidates who scored the same cut-off marks have been selected to write the main Examination.
TNPSC Examinations Regulation Officer Ms. V. Shobhana informed that the Main Examination is scheduled to be conducted during 29th, 30th, & 31st July. Information will be individually sent to the candidates.
