Private Milk Company hikes its milk price

Tirumala Milk Company has hiked the price of its milk from Tuesday. This company has been selling milk for a price in Chennai and for another price in Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts. At this juncture, the milk company has hiked Rs 2 per litre in Kancheepuram district.
Tamil Nadu Milk Dealers Welfare Association president S A Ponnusamy has mentioned that the company should rollback the price immediately. In a statement he has mentioned that Andhra Pradesh State milk company Tirumala will first hike its price. Later on other milk companies will follow this. Hence this should be prevented immediately.
For the last few months, private milk companies are hiking their prices to their whims and fancies.
