You can get color Electors Photo Identity Cards in three days for a fee of Rs 25. The State Election Commission has decided to distribute color Electors Photo Identity Cards since the state assembly elections are fastly approaching.
For the 16 assembly constituencies, 3 election facilitation centres has been set up by the Greater Chennai Corporation. North Chennai voters can approach the e-centre at Ripon Buildings and apply for the colour cards. Central Chennai voters can approach the zonal office in Shenai Nagar and South Chennai voters can approach the zonal office in Adyar,
The State Election Commission has set up 363 election facilitation centres across the State that began functioning on Monday. Voters can approach these centres for including their names in the voters list and for applying for voter ID cards. They can also avail a host of other election-related services.
