Paytm enters entertainment world

As a move to extend its digital bookings offering, Paytm has joined hands with PVR, INOX and several other cinema houses to sell out movie tickets. This will surpass BookMyShow, the monopoly in such services till date in such online entertainment business.
The company will furthermore strengthen its offerings by making additions to its mobile wallet that gives its users a wonderful experience with movies. They can have offline experiences and value added services via mobile wallet by paying for food at the time of booking. There are cashback deals as well.
CEO of Paytm, Vijay Shekhar says they will widen their offline reach by kick-starting with their movie tickets.
