Kanimozhis bail rejected

The Delhi High Court Wednesday rejected the bail pleas of DMK MP Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV chief Sharad Kumar, both named co-conspirators in the 2G spectrum case.

Kanimozhi, the daughter of DMK chief Karunanidhi and Sharad Kumar have been in Tihar Jail since May 20 when a special Central Bureau of Investigation court here dismissed their bail pleas.

Kanimozhi`s mother, Rajathi Ammal, was in tears in court after her daughter`s application for bail was rejected by the Delhi High Court in the 2G scam case.
